Nel luogo dentro l’Oratorio dell’Assunta è posto a valle dell’abitato, con l’abside rivolto a mezzogiorno sul pendio della montagna, a cui si accede con una ripida scala i cui gradini sono intagliati nella pietra. Come l’Oratorio Nome di Maria, anch’esso è costituito da un corpo unico con una piccola sacrestia, con l’altare posto frontalmente. È dotato di un piccolo campanile, estremamente angusto, la cui campana, che ha un suono molto particolare, viene suonata a martelletto. Proprio il suono della campana provocò il 24 febbraio 1644 l’arresto del parroco don Luigi Brunelli, che aveva suonato per annunciare la Santa Messa. I fascisti, che stavano salendo in perlustrazione, interpretarono quel gesto come una manovra per avvertire i partigiani dell’arrivo della pattuglia: lo arrestarono insieme al sig. Giorgione che in quel periodo fungeva da Podestà.

It is equipped with a small bell tower, which is extremely narrow, whose bell is very characteristic since the tocsin sounds. On 24 February 1644, the sound of the bell caused the arrest of the priest Don Luigi Brunelli, who had rung the bell to announce the Holy Mass. The fascists, who were going up on patrol, interpreted that gesture as a manoeuvre to warn the partisans of the arrival of the patrol: they arrested him together with Mr. Giorgione who in that period served as the “Podestà”.
