Nel nucleo centrale e più antico di Beura vi è la Casa Ferrari, su due piani, stretta e alta, con un tetto a due spioventi e l’ingresso evidenziato da un ampio portone arciacuto. Modificata e ampliata varie volte nel corso dei secoli, come denunciano le date incise qua e là sull’edificio, fu edificata originariamente nel ‘400 e probabilmente non apparteneva alla famiglia Ferrari, una delle più cospicue della bassa Ossola, come farebbe pensare lo stemma scolpito sull’arco a sesto acuto della porta (però, con il bambino mangiato dal serpente al contrario rispetto al solito), ma è possibile che fosse dipendente dal Castello di Vogogna.
In the central part of Beura there is the Ferrari House: it is a narrow and high building, on two floors, with a gabled roof and the entrance dominated by a large arched doorway. It was restructured and enlarged several times over the centuries, as the dates engraved on the building show. It was originally built in the fifteenth century and probably it did not belong to the Ferrari family, one of the most important families in the lower Ossola, as the coat of arms carved on the pointed arch of the door would suggest (the child is eaten by the snake from the head and not from the legs like in the traditional iconography), but it probably depended on the Castle of Vogogna.
