La cappella di Santa Marta in frazione Quarata, risalente al XV secolo, era regolarmente raggiunta sia dai parrocchiani di Trontano sia da quelli di Beura in occasione delle processioni rogazionali. I pregevoli affreschi al suo interno sono attribuiti ai maestri Seregnesi. Sopra l’altare è rappresentata una crocefissione con ai lati la Madonna, San Giovanni, San Giorgio (patrono di Beura), Santa Marta e Sant’Antonio abate. Ancora oggi, nei mesi di maggio e di luglio, viene raggiunta da numerosi fedeli che invocano la pioggia.
The chapel of Santa Marta in the hamlet of Quarata, dating back to the 15th century, was regularly reached by both the parishioners of Trontano and those of Beura on the occasion of the rogation processions. The precious frescoes inside the chapel are attributed to the Seregnesi. Above the altar there is a crucifixion with the Virgin Mary, Saint John, Saint George (patron Saint of Beura), Saint Martha and Saint Anthony the Abbot. Even today, in the months of May and July, the chapel is reached by many faithful who call upon rain.
