Il torchio è sito in località Quara ed il suo anno di costruzione è intagliato nella struttura di legno: 1768. I proprietari dello stabile gestivano a turno, per un anno, il torchio concedendone l’uso a chi lo richiedeva dietro compenso di “mezza brenta”, corrispondente a 25 litri di vino: era per le famiglie di tutto il paese. Oltre al vino si otteneva anche olio con le noci, con una apposita macina di sasso ancora visibile all’interno dell’edificio.
Gli ultimi proprietari del torchio risultano essere le famiglie Capelli Gino, Giacometti Leonardo e Francina con i quali il Comune ha stipulato un accordo per il recupero e la ristrutturazione dello stabile in virtù del quale il Comune ne detiene il comodato d’uso per cento anni.
The press is located in Quara and its year of construction is carved into the wooden structure: 1768. The owners of the building managed the press in turn, for a year, allowing it to be used with a payment of "half brenta", corresponding to 25 litres of wine: it was for the families of the whole village. In addition to the wine, oil was also obtained with walnuts, by using a special millstone still visible inside the building.
The last owners of the press are the Capelli Gino, Giacometti Leonardo and Francina families with whom the Municipality has entered into an agreement for the recovery and renovation of the building by virtue of which the Municipality has been holding the loan for use for one hundred years.
