A Miazzina fino alla metà del secolo scorso non tutte le abitazioni erano fornite di acqua corrente. Esistevano quindi diversi punti di raccolta dell’acqua per uso domestico; alcuni di questi derivavano da condutture, altri erano sorgivi. Tra questi ultimi al Luogo Dentro si trova la sorgente, ancora attiva, dei FENTITT. Non si conosce l’origine di questa denominazione.
La fontana è accompagnata da una vasca che poteva servire sia da abbeveratoio per gli animali, sia per raccogliere direttamente secchi d’acqua da utilizzare per diversi scopi: lavare, annaffiare gli orti e i giardini. Per l’acqua da portare in tavola e generalmente per bere, si preferiva riempire brocche e bottiglie direttamente dalla sorgente nella grotta.
In Miazzina, until the 1950s, only some houses were provided with running water. Therefore, there were different water collection points for domestic use; some of them came from pipelines, others from springs. Among the latter, there is the still active spring of the FENTITT, located in Luogo Dentro. The origin of this name is unknown.
The fountain is accompanied by a basin that could serve both as a watering place for animals and to directly collect buckets of water to be used for different purposes: washing, watering the gardens and vegetable gardens. As regards the water to drink and to be brought to the table, the inhabitants preferred to fill ewers and bottles directly from the spring in the cave.
