Comuniterrae is in the catalogue of the european good practices on the cultural heritage 2020 and part of a peer-learning visits programme
Good news and recognitions never end for the Comuniterrae project!

After being part as protagonist of the “Governing Heritage together” workshop, organized by EUROCITIES during the 18° European Week of Cities  and Regions, annual event dedicated to the regional politics, now it got another important step.

During last spring the project took part in the “Cultural Heritage in Action” call, launched by Europa Nostra together with other european partners as EUROCITIES, that had the goal to identify a few dozens of projects on the local heritage, considered innovative and inspirational for other cities and regions and with a real impact on the territories. Financed by Creative Europe, the “Cultural Heritage in Action” programme is part of the initiatives from the Action Plan on the Cultural Heritage of the European Commission.

The call has then selected 32 projects that are inserted in the catalogue of the european good practices 2020 (online at this link) with the aim of encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experiences related to the following three thematic fields:

  • Participative governance of the cultural heritage

  • Adaptive reuse of the built heritage

  • Quality of the interventions on the cultural heritage

Comuniterrae is in the catalogue and has been presented in the “Participative governance”. Moreover it is part of the 12 projects, selected among the 32, for a programme of peer-learning visits. It’s an important opportunity for experts, politicians and interested people who want to visit another city or region and see in which way it has successfully implemented its politics and projects. It’s a precious way to exchange opinions on the difficulties and solutions found during time and to learn from each other.

The visits have to be implemented and will be available soon in the next few months.

Please have a look to this link in order to see the 32 good practices, published on the project’s website.
